Facing south in a very quiet and picturesque rural environment, our holiday house is located between the village of Clis and the salt flats where sea salt has been harvested for centuries, a few miles west of the medieval market town of Guérande, within walking distance of a regional park where many protected species of rare birds are likely to be seen in the marshes at some season of the year.

The house is a couple of miles from the beach of La Turballe, the nearest fishing port, and is situated in an area that offers the opportunity to walk some of Brittany’s finest long distance footpaths and to admire the scenery as you pedal along cycle paths and peaceful roads with little or no traffic, following leisurely routes that vary between ‘completely flat’ and ‘gently undulating’, discovering prehistoric and medieval sites or the coastal scenery.

The area offers a lot to do throughout the year – golf, horse-riding, sailing, water-skiing, and fishing. All those sports and leisure facilities are readily available. Activities

The house has recently been tastefully refurbished and redecorated in January 2004 and is splendidly equipped to a very high standard.   Amenities

Facing south, the house has its own terrace with barbecue and garden furniture, a wonderful place for a sun downer… The terrace and the private garden with access to the outdoor swimming-pool (open from 01/05 to 31/10)are instrumental in making the place an ideal spot for a peaceful, comfortable and recreational holiday.
